For trophy bull elk, we guide our hunters in unit 6A and on the Valles Caldera Preserve. Rifle and muzzleloader hunts are 5 days, while archery hunts are 5-7 days. In unit 6A, most of the better bulls range from 290-330 in score, but there are usually some 340-370 bulls harvested in the unit each year.
