Our elk hunts are conducted on both private and public land. Archery hunts happen during the early rut and are very exciting as we chase bugling bulls through the high country. Muzzle Loader hunts are peak rut and offer the opportunity to hunt big bulls with a smoke pole! Rifle hunts are in mid October and offer a traditional style elk hunting experience. Typical mature bulls in the area range from 290-310 class of bull; however several bulls are killed by Red Top clients each year that exceed that score class.
